The basic unit of measure in the solar system is the Astronomical
Unit or AU, representing the distance from the Sun to the
Earth.
I chose this quote because I didn't realize that there were ways of measuring things in space that are different than how we measure things on Earth. I think that the author is talking about space and by doing this he sort of relates math and measurements to space. I'm kind of interested in space so I thought that this article was interesting.
yeah that's interesting because it's weird like when we were researching our underwater measurements it was like Dynes and stuff and it's things we've never heard of
